Thermal denaturation was measured in high sensitivity capillaries using a Prometheus NT.48 instrument (NanoTemper Technologies). Fluorescence at 350 and 330 nm was collected and the unfolding temperatures (Tm) were determined from the first derivative of the fluorescence ratio (F350/F330). Scattering onset was measured using integrated back reflection optics of the instrument. Data processing was performed using PR control (version: 1.11; NanoTemper Technologies).
